WhatsApp To Share Data with Facebook

Facebook-owned messenger app, WhatsApp, is making some changes to their privacy policy that you will want to know. In an effort to allow businesses to communicate with their one billion users, WhatsApp will share phone numbers and analytic data with Facebook in order to help the messaging app better use their services and track metrics. If you’re a loyal WhatsApp user thinking, “I don’t want this,” act soon because WhatsApp is giving you 30 days to opt out of having your number shared. (Source: Mashable)

Freelancers have grown by 50% in the past five years. Sites like Upwork and Thumbtack are making it easier than ever to hire a freelancer for jobs like writing or design. LinkedIn is noticing this trend and hopping on board with their own freelancer platform. The new platform called LinkedIn ProFinder acts similar to other freelancer websites, connecting you to those qualified to do your job. Amazon is releasing a new tool that’ll make it easier for prospective car owners to research new cars on the market. While you can’t purchase your new SUV on the site, Amazon Vehicles lets you do extensive research to compare models and hear from those who own that model.
