Walmart to Buy Jet

Amazon wannabe and competitor Jet.com is approaching its first birthday and might be getting a pretty big birthday gift. Commerce extraordinaire Walmart is thinking about buying the web retailer. This could be huge for Walmart because it could greatly help their e-commerce efforts and help with their goal to be the largest retailer in the world. Jet would also benefit from this seeing as the startup wasn’t as profitable as it hoped. It’s not official and no price tags are on the market yet, but it’s rumored that Jet could be worth $3 billion. It’s a race for the largest retailer trophy. (Source: Wall Street Journal)

Twitter Introduces New Form of Ads

Twitter is coming up with a new way for advertisers to get their fans to tweet more. Twitter introduced a new type of ad today that allows brands to unlock exclusive content to their readers when they reply or retweet something. This is pretty big because brands will be able to post call-to-actions encouraging more engagement. (Source: TechCrunch)

The iPhone 7 Rumors are Out

If you are waiting to upgrade your phone once you see the new iPhone then this sneak peek might be for you. A French website has released some exclusive pics of what is rumored to be the iPhone 7.
