Pokemon Go Update Fixes Security Threat

The Pokemon Go craze is in full effect. People are going on more walks to chase Pokemon, just walking around aimlessly searching for the Pokemon to arise. Pokemon trainers (aka players for those that don’t read The Skinny everyday – shame on you btw) became concerned when it was circulating around the Internet that the app received all of your Google data. Many were deleting the app or creating fake accounts (this didn’t hurt the app too much seeing as Pokemon Go is still more popular thanTwitter). In their latest update, Pokemon Go addresses that they fixed the Google account scope so the app isn’t getting access to all of your Google data. Jennifer Aniston Puts Down Body Shaming with Blog Post

Jennifer Aniston doesn’t use social media – it’s crazy, we agree. Aniston took to a blog post titled “For The Record,” to shut down those individuals criticizing her for every little thing. The blog post addresses body shaming and the media. Some highlights from her blog post follow:

  • “What I am is fed up. I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of “journalism,” the “First Amendment” and “celebrity news.”
  • “The way I am portrayed by the media is simply a reflection of how we see and portray women in general, measured against some warped standard of beauty.”
  • “What can change is our awareness and reaction to the toxic messages buried within these seemingly harmless stories served up as truth and shaping our ideas of who we are.”
