One Big Thing | Life

My grandfather almost made it to 101 before passing peacefully this week. A World War II veteran and Princeton chemist, he’s now reunited with his beautiful bride. What a life he lived. His passing made me pause and ask: What really matters? What did he teach me?

People often ask, “What’s the purpose of life?”

The answer hasn’t changed: the purpose of life is life itself. As my Colombian side of the family says, Viva la Vida. Live the Life.

Serve others. Be the light that helps others see their best life.
